In august I had a week off, so I visited my pa’ in Tennessee and went to Jack Daniels for a tour..and lunch.

Well, I didn’t do any editing…

I uploaded all the pictures I took at the Family Reunion in Hookstown.

FamilyShannon Album *Hint, Username and Password are the same… Grampa’s middle name (if your grandpa is the same as my grandpa, that is..if not, I guess you have to consult the family tree to find out.)

Anyone else have images to upload?  If you do, you need to let Todd know, because I’m the one who can set you up an account to do that…. 😉

Were you told Familyshannon or ShannonFamily?  Yeah…I don’t remember what I told everyone either.

Who’s sending me some family tree informations?  Should I work to put that online? Is it already online?

Looks like I made it!

Are we sure the reunion isn’t in the hotel breakfast area?   I’ll have to hold a class later to teach someone other than me how to make a entry here 🙂

Since I know not everyone by default knows how to write a post on a WordPress blog site (the software running this blog site..)

If you look on your right…there will either be a “Login” or “Register” link on the list. you may have to scroll down a bit, it should be the first or second link in the “Meta” section. If you’re already Logged In, it should have something about “Site Admin” — this will take you to the Dashboard were you could Write a Post.

Once into the Write a Post, it’s hopefully fairly straight forward. There’s a simple text editor, basic formatting options, icons to add media, and a Save and Publish link. Save will just create a Draft you can work on later. Publish actually puts the entry where everyone will see it.

Oh..and I have reserved a room at the Hotel in Moon Township. I figure I’ll get rides wherever I need to be instead of renting a car! take care, see everyone in July!

I finally got around ot buying my tickets to PA.  I think I’m on the smallest jets American Airlines has in their fleet….and the oldest.  An MD80 and something with only 32 seats.  I use seatguru to pick out “good” seats whenever I must fly.  I do not prefer flying over driving.  Sure, it takes longer…but I get to see lots of stuff whenever I drive around the country and usually eat pretty good food. Oh well…It’s only a 3 day trip.  Need to call the hotel and figure out how they got $69/night vs the $89/night the web shows.
